What does an editor/author do when unexpected shifts in her editing schedule open a window? SHE WRITES! And guess what? Book one of the Blue Ridge Rangers, The Socialite's Secret and Her Reluctant Protector, set in Greensboro, Asheville, and Biltmore Forest in 1908, is finished! It's with beta readers, about to be turned into my publisher. 

And...I just finished researching book two, The Biltmore Botanist and Her Cherokee Guardian. This one will be set in Biltmore Village, the Vanderbilt hunting lodge at Buck Springs, and the Snowbird Mountains in 1916, the year of the most devastating flood in the area's history. I start writing immediately and would appreciate your prayers that the story be rich and meaningful.

Given the accelerated writing schedule, Wild Heart Books was able to find an earlier slot to release book one and move the subsequent books into prior slots. Here's the new release schedule:

• The Biltmore Botanist and Her Cherokee Guardian - August 17, 2027
• The Lost Archeologist and Her Scarred Soldier - March 21, 2028
